General Author Guideline

All manuscripts must be submitted to LedTure: Journal on Language Education Literature and Culture Editorial Office by email at: ledturejournal.2022@gmail.com

English Education Study Program, Artha Wacana Christian University.

The manuscript must be written in English, at least 8 to 15 pages (around 3500-5000 words), including pictures, tables, and diagrams. The manuscript should be written based on the LedTure journal template.

Manuscript Template

The manuscript should be prepared according to the following author’s guidelines.

Reviewing Manuscript

All submitted papers are independently reviewed by reviewers. The decision for publication, amendment, or rejection is based upon their recommendation. If the reviewer considers a manuscript unsuitable for publication in this journal, a statement explaining the basis for the decision will be sent to the author within four months of submission.

Revision Manuscript

Manuscripts returned to the author for revision should be resubmitted to the editor within three months. Revised manuscripts can be sent to the editorial office through email. The revised manuscripts returned later than three months will be considered new submissions.

Manuscript Preparation Guideline

All manuscript submitted to LedTure: Journal on Language Education Literature and Culture is checked and decided by Editors. The manuscript which does not follow the format/template of the LedTure: Journal on Language Education Literature and Culture will be rejected. The appropriate manuscript will be accepted and confirmed through email by Editor.

Manuscript Format

The manuscript is submitted to LedTure: Journal on Language Education Literature and Culture should contain at least 10-15 pages with the following format:

  1. INTRODUCTION
  2. METHOD
  3. RESULT AND DISCUSSION
  4. CONCLUSION
  5. REFERENCES

Manuscript Title

  • 14 pt Arial
  • Bold
  • Centered

Author Detail

  • Name (11 pt Arial, centered, Bold)
  • Affiliation(11 pt Arial, centered)
  • Email (11 pt Arial, centered, italic)
  • Correspondence author (11 pt Arial, centered, italic)

Abstract and Keywords

The abstract should be written in one paragraph with around 200-250 words, in Arial font, size 11, and single spacing. The outline of the abstract is as follows: General statement about the importance of the topic, the gap in literature or discrepancies between theories and practices, the purpose of study, method, main findings, result and conclusion. Abstracts are written in English.

  • Keywords: 2-5 words(11 pt Arial, Bold, Align Left)

Introduction

In this section, the author/s provides an adequate background and theoretical frameworks used to discuss the research problems as the research objective. Authors need to show the main limitation of the previous research, what to achieve (to solve the limitation), and the scientific merit or novelties of the paper.

Use no indent for the first paragraphs and no space between paragraphs. The following paragraphs are indented first line 0.5cm.

  • Body (12 pt Arial, justify, single spacing 1.pt)

Method

The author/s states the research approach, data collection and data analysis technique.

Result and Discussion

The results must be clear and concise. The discussion should correspond with the finding but not replicate the finding in the discussion.

Conclusion

Conclusions should answer the objectives of the research. Discuss how your work advances the field from the present state of knowledge.

Reference

  • All manuscripts should conform with APA (American Psychological Association) style manual, 6th
  • 11 pt Arial, spacing 1.0, Hanging 1cm

Author Profile

The biographical statement should include the author(s) full name. In addition, it is also appropriate to discuss their personal history, academic program and/or field placement, and interest in the article's subject. The biographical statement may be at most 75 words.
